Celebrating 300 Years of Chianti

October 5th, 2016 by

The region of Chianti has recently celebrated 300 years of winemaking. It was the Duke of Tuscany Cosimo III de Medici that put Chianti on the world map by establishing it as one of the world’s first “wine Territory”.

This marks 300 years of fine wine making from the most celebrated indigenous grape of Italy, Sangiovese

Come celebrate 300 years of the Italian wine making as we explore the different wine making techniques, aging and terriors in Tuscany that influence the flavours and body of the Sangiovese grape.

On October 14th we are doing something a little different. Enjoy a night out with a friend and as you catch up I, Jessica our house Sommelier will take you through your personal tasting. Book a spot at the bar between 5:30 and 8:30 and when you arrive we will begin the tasting.
