Our grandparents (Jessica's great grandparents), Nonno Gelindo and Nonna Marie cooked the true Italian way. Everything was made from scratch using only the freshest ingredients possible.
Here at Bertoldi's in London, our oven-baked bread, homemade specialty pastas and all of our sauces are made fresh, right on the premises.
We want to give Londoners a taste of Italy in a simple surrounding. So come in, sit at our table and break bread with us, just as you would have had you been over to Gelindo's and Marie's for supper or lunch.

All of the Bertoldi desserts are made fresh daily in-house (other than our gelatos, which are made fresh off premises).
Gelato ~ Each week we feature a new fresh flavour. Please ask your server for details.  4
Tiramisu ~ Smooth Mascarpone cheese folded with fresh cream and espresso layered between light ladyfinger biscuits.  6
Sicilian Cheesecake ~ A very special light creamy baked cheese cake with a hint of lemon. Served with a raspberry coulis.  7
Crema Brulata and Fresh Berries ~ This is the Italian answer to Crème Brûlée! Made fresh daily, this vanilla custard is topped with seasonal fresh berries then glazed with caramelized sugar.  7
Canoli ~ Two of our canolis, filled with fresh cream sweetened ricotta mixed with Callebaut chocolate. 7

Chocolate BUDINO TARTLET ~ Unique to Bertoldi’s and just a great way to end a meal. We take a homemade chocolate tart shell then add our chocolate custard and finish off with a touch of olive oil and sea salt. This is a truly amazing dessert that will excite all of your taste buds.  8

Grappa
Grappa is a uniquely Italian drink. Traditionally made from the pommace, (the discarded product of the winemaking process), Grappa has been around since the Middle Ages. Italians enjoy it following a meal and some are even partial to adding it to their morning espresso – just to ensure they get the day started on the right foot. Since Bertoldi’s is not open for breakfast, we recommend you try Grappa following your meal with a nice shot of espresso. We have several grappas to choose from, please ask your server for details.
